House of Dionysus, Paphos, Cyprus

I’ve been away on holiday to Cyprus, staying near Paphos, so no blog writing for the past few weeks.

The best thing about Cyprus was visiting the mosaics at the House of Dionysus. This is about five minutes from the bus station at Paphos Harbour. The archaeological site, a Unesco World Heritage Centre is vast, stretching all the way from the town to the coast. It took more than three hours to look at all the mosaics and they are stunning. The site is a restored Roman villa dating from the 2nd Century AD.
