Last week we travelled from Spain into France taking the route from Aragon through the Central Pyrenees to Toulouse. This route has some of the highest peaks in the mountain range and it was spectacular. I drove through tunnels hollowed out of the rocks, across narrow bridges, all the time climbing and descending the twisting road. The town of Vielho was spectacular as was the whole journey. I have wanted to do this drive for a long time, but never believed I would do it in a camper van. It was exhilarating. I just wish the photographs could capture the majesty of this scenery.
