Crossing the Bay of Biscay and the Latest Baby Quilts

Alba's Quilt

This blog is from Madrid. The ferry crossing across the Bay of Biscay was a little rough, but I was more seasick than most of the other passengers and it took another day off the boat before I could face eating.

In my last post I said I would post the photos of the babys’ quilts once they had received them.

So here is Alba’s quilt featuring pirates on the high sea. Alba is my grandaughter.

Kieran is my partner’s grandson, just three weeks younger than Alba.

Two of the panels have the words printed across the bottom, ‘The Circus is Coming to Town.’

No more babies are expected in the family at present so I hope to find time whilst I’m in Spain to return to writing.
